Additional considerations for the Vygon PICC Line range

• *CT-rated PICC Lines: The CT PICC Easy and Maxflo PICC are both CT-rated PICC lines, for a safer and more efficient solution for CT scan injections and withstand up to 325 PSI.
• Neonatal PICC Lines: For specialist PICC’s for neonatal or smaller paediatric cases, see our range dedicated to the tiniest of patients.
• PICC Line Securement: We also supply the SecurAcath Catheter and PICC securement device, which provides long-term catheter securement for a wide range of treatments and for all patient types and ages.

What are PICC Lines (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters)?

‘PICC’ describes a commonly used vascular access device suitable for mid-long-term IV therapies. The long, thin, flexible catheter tube is inserted within the upper arm of the patient, with the end of the catheter positioned in the superior vena cava (SVC).

PICC line insertion is done within a hospital environment but can also stay in-situ with the patient in clinical or at home settings. At home IV therapies offer a multitude of benefits to the patient, as well as significant cost saving opportunities for hospital Trusts.
