The need to transition to safer neuraxial connector devices has never been more prevalent as it is today.

At Vygon we have been working hard to develop a range that addresses this need and provides Trusts with a non-luer alternative to help prevent such risks as wrong-route administration of medication.

The ‘soon to be launched’ range is fully compliant with ISO 80369-6 for use in neuraxial applications.

Whilst there is no legal requirement to adopt the new connectors, failure to transition to the new ISO standard may expose clinical staff and the organisation to legal challenges if wrong route incidents were to occur.
