SecurAcath Subcutaneous Anchor Securement System

Discover the benefits of SecurAcath for the duration of a patient’s therapy, with a proven lowering of catheter related complications. SecurAcath can be used for securing all PICC lines, CVC’s and other lines for any patients, from paediatrics to geriatrics.

This dedicated in-service training provides clinicians with the opportunity to understand the background, theory and clinical guidance for using SecurAcath, and to observe and practice SecurAcath placement and removal using a training aid.

  • Average Duration: Up to 30 minutes*
  • Training Options: Practical based session / standalone training/ drop-in sessions
  • Training Group Size: : Dependent on training requirements.
  • Training materials: A practical training aid, online videos and resources, and an easy to access app to support this training. Certificates on training completion available on request.

Topics Covered:

Delivered through a theoretical foundation of haemodynamics, providing theory, background and case-specific examples. As well as practical demonstrations of using and understanding the Mostcare Up Hemodynamic monitor and troubleshooting.
