Vygon UK to host Scotland and Northern Ireland Vascular Access Network (SIVAN) 2018
Standardising vascular access practice to enhance patient care. We are running the inaugural network meeting on Thursday, 15 February. at the Stirling Court Hotel, Stirling, in the vale of the iconic Wallace Monument.
The need to standardise vascular access practice is an ongoing global conversation. In response to this, Vygon works closely with clinicians to help enhance patient care and to understand what measures need to be taken to ensure practice is in line with global standards.
We are proud to now be involved in the creation of the Scotland and Northern Ireland Vascular Access Network (SIVAN), and to continue to support the development of best practice.
To get the ball rolling, we are running the inaugural network meeting on Thursday, 15 February. at the Stirling Court Hotel, Stirling, in the vale of the iconic Wallace Monument. To keep costs to a minimum it is being fully funded by Vygon using an educational grant, delegates need only cover their own travel arrangements and enjoy the day.
It is our objective that the meeting creates a forum for discussion and practice development in vascular access, forming the basis of a successful annual event and a growing SIVAN.
On the programme we have Tim Jackson as our keynote speaker, who will share his expertise in Vessel Health and Preservation (VHP).
Other sessions will include a picture of vascular access in Scotland and Northern Ireland, vascular access in respiratory, OPAT, orthopaedics, oncology and critical care. Breakout sessions will also look at insertion including the use of ultrasound, auditing, and the controversies surrounding vascular access.
If you would like to be able to say you were there at the beginning of what we hope will become a firm and popular fixture in the vascular access events calendar please follow this link (bit.ly/SIVAN2018) to register.
We look forward to meeting you on the day, and supporting you in the advancement of best practice.
