About Product

Neohelp™ is a sterile polyethylene suit to prevent hypothermia in newborns. The baby is placed in the suit immediately after birth without drying (before being admitted to the ICU).
Heat loss due to environmental factors (evaporation, convection, conduction and radiation) is considerably reduced.

Neohelp™ consists of:

  • A double layer of polyethylene (external layer: 50 microns, internal layer: 30 microns) which creates a greenhouse effect and protects from drafts. The heat loss through radiation, convection and evaporation is reduced.
  • a hood which limits the dispersion of heat by the head. Fully adjustable to the babies head, it does not let the air in.
Pre-formed foam which helps to keep the baby’s head in the neutral position and keep the airway open (1) and provides a barrier against heat loss by conduction, offering comfort to the baby.
  • Neohelp™ is an ingenious pouch completely transparent, to monitor the color of the newborn’s skin and breath movements, and easy to use with direct access to the baby through the open / closed central opening.

Neohelp™ is suitable for all situations (delivery room, place of resuscitation, emergency, operating room, transport …) and all users.

It is recommended not to use Neohelp™ for more than 24 hours.

“1. The newborn who needs resuscitation should be placed on their back with the head in a neutral or slightly extended position (the sniffing position). Particularly if moulding during birth has caused a very prominent occiput, a 2 cm thickness of blanket or towel placed under the shoulders may be helpful in maintaining good positioning.”
