About Product

This extension tube can only be used with feeding tubes featuring a Nutrisafe 2 (NON LUER) connection.
The Nutrisafe 2 connection is NOT COMPATIBLE with devices featuring a 6 % LUER connection. Consequently, accidental misconnections between parenteral drugs/solutions and enteral drugs/solutions (particularly in stress situations) are avoided and the right administration route is respected.
It gives extended connections to pumps, allows greater freedom of movement for ambulatory patients and greater flexibility when used at the cot side.

Nutrisafe 2 extension lines are made of PVC and are purple coloured to easily identify the line as an enteral nutrition line.
Codes 368.032/102/152 have a standard bore (1.5 x 2.5 mm) for breast milk and standard milk formula.
Codes 369.125 and 369.252 have a large bore (3.0 x 4.2 mm) for fortified milk.
