Universal Adaptor – also referred to as ATP431 adaptor.
Connecting device for use between Bionector Needle Free Connector and pre-filled glass syringes, can also be used as an anti-siphon valve.
Product Guidance & Compatibility
- Vadsite: This range is fully compatible with both versions of the Aurum syringe, requiring no adaptors for use.
- Bionector:
- With the Legacy Aurum syringes, the adaptor (ATP431) is needed. Please see guidance below for use.
- With the new ‘CONNECT’ syringes, Bionector can be used without any adaptors.

Instructions for use: Universal Adaptor, Bionector and legacy Aurum syringes
- Attach the universal adaptor to the bionector
- Insert pre-filled glass emergency syringe (Aurum) into end of adaptor, then bolus as normal
- Remove the adaptor following administration of emergency drug(s).
*If an adaptor is unavailable, remove the Bionector/extension set and access the cannula directly.
