Introducing Campus Vygon UK – A new learning resource for healthcare professionals

Campus Vygon is a free learning platform, created in consultation with healthcare specialists, offering courses, live expert presentations, workshops, latest news articles, infographics and further resources on a wide range of topics.

First launched by Vygon Spain in 2020, Campus Vygon has already helped thousands of medics in Europe stay up to date with vital industry news and learning opportunities.

Campus Vygon’s initial UK phase is providing clinicians with access to a catalogue of blog posts and infographics to support learning and development.

The first phase follows new research findings which point to the growing pressures on clinical teams to remain up to date with training and industry advancements. In a survey of existing customers, including senior paediatric nurses, dieticians and vascular access practitioners, almost all clinicians (92%) said they would benefit from easier access to training resources.

Eight in ten (82%) would welcome access to online training and over two thirds (68%) would gain value from virtual networking opportunities, such as knowledge exchange forums. Around a third said their work would be boosted by access to infographics and blog posts.

When the site is fully live in early 2025, new content, including in-depth training modules and workshops, will be added.

Katie Kingston, Head of Marketing says: “Clinicians can feel under significant strain to try and stay abreast of latest industry developments. They might hear of new advancements but there are barriers – such as a lack of time and funding – that prevent them from attending conferences or reviewing the latest in-depth research.

“Campus Vygon was created to put essential learning content in one place, covering a varied range of topics – for example, neonatal feeding and haemodynamic monitoring are just two topics currently covered on the blog.

“When it launches fully in 2025, the platform will make it much easier for clinicians to access knowledge and information that can then have a real impact on patient outcomes. Feedback from our colleagues in Europe has shown that the system has helped healthcare professionals stay across training and development opportunities, and this has had a positive effect on the care they provide.

“We’re excited to launch this innovative new platform in the UK and hope it brings many benefits to healthcare services as it rolls out in the coming months.”
