As a core part of our critical care rage, Vygon UK are leading the way in central venous catheters and CVC access devices.
High-flow central venous catheters and CVC lines are forms of vascular access devices that are inserted into a central vein for quick delivery of intravenous fluids, blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and other drugs.
Our High flow CVC Lines are specially designed for patients experiencing imminent blood loss, associated with accident, major surgery, or for those in intensive care with multiple injuries or sepsis.
The highflow lines are designed to allow a greater volume of fluid than standard CVC line, especially important in acute and emergency therapies, or for more viscous fluids. The Multicath Highflow has a flow rate of up to 400ml/min. In addition, these catheters are pressure tested to allow for contrast media infusion in CT.
With over 50 years of experience in manufacturing and supplying medical and surgical devices, Vygon UK is a leading provider of central venous access products to the NHS and private sector within the UK market.
Our range of CVC lines are designed and developed for safe, accurate and fully sterile use for acute and IV therapy. We provide dedicated education and training for clinicians to achieve best practice during IV therapy and insertion procedures, with additional support and resources provided to help support patients.
