Leader-Cath 2 EL is a polyurethane central venous catheter totally radiopaque inserted preferably in the jugular or subclavian vein using the Seldinger technique.

Leader-Cath 2 EL is supplied in a rigid blister pack containing:
– 1 introducer needle (length 70 mm)
– 1 catheter 15 cm long (code 1245.15/17/20) or 20 cm (code 1248.15/17/20) with markings every centimeter from 5 cm from distal tip with integral fixation wings and extension tube in polyurethane (length 10 cm)
– 1 “J” guidewire (53 cm long) with markings every 10 cm and guide advancer
– 1 syringe 5 ml
– 1 dilator
