This device is mainly used with peripheral IV catheter.
During the infusion, the nurse can administrate drugs by ponctioning with a needle the latex-free membrane fitted on the “T” connector.
These extensions are mainly used in Neonatology and Pediatrics.
Bionector can be disinfected with most of the antiseptic solutions (example: 70° alcohol). Avoid using antisptic containing both alcohol and hydrogen peroxide.

PVC extension tube for I.V catheter with a Bionector at the proximal end and a “T” connector with Luer port (code 822.611) or Luer-lock port (code 822.111).
The “T” connector is also fitted with a Latex-free injection cap for intermittent syringe injections of drugs.
